New York Fashion Week- Day 2 (Opera Recyles)

Hey, Everyone! Hope you are having a fantastic week so far! The weekend is finally here...YAY!!

I want to share with you my second day at fashion week. It was an incredible time.

The fashion show I was able to see was spectacular and super creative by founder, Megan Miller.  The brand is called Opera Recycles, a recycled runway show.

Opera Carolina traveled over to New York City from Charlotte, North Carolina. It's an eco-friendly fashion show that was presented at Couture Fashion Week. How cool is that? They had a total of seven designers and sixteen models. My eyes were hooked on the show. I couldn't believe all the creativity that was displayed. It's an organization that promotes environmental awareness by creating couture fashion using its recycled printed materials.

In 2015 Opera Carolina launched a new recycling initiative, Opera Recycles. Since the launch, more than 10,500 items of marketing material have been converted into eco-friendly fashion pieces.
Take a look at the pieces and let me know what you think!!

 Here are some video clips!!

  3. Wow! Reach piece looks breathtaking that I'm having goosebumps! What are they made of exactly? And how does one clean them? It would really be awesome to see these pieces get worn by celebrities during red carpet events. :) - Dae Nerys

  10. I guess this is a very prestigious event. But I do not really get haute couture because these gowns can never be worn anywhere outside the catwalk. I do have to say that the models look very pretty.
